An Atlanta area Homeowners Association (HOA) had been struggling with unauthorized access and vandalism to their common areas. To address these challenges effectively, TTCG partnered with For2Fi, a provider of managed IoT solutions, to develop a comprehensive solution that addressed the client’s concerns and requirements.
The HOA's primary concerns revolved around the persistent problem of unauthorized entry, accompanied by incidents of vandalism occurring both inside and outside the pool and common areas. It was crucial for the association to find a solution that would enhance security, deter potential vandals, and provide the ability to monitor and capture incidents while providing a safe, comfortable space for their residents.
After conducting a thorough assessment of the HOA's requirements, our team recommended the installation of Verkada’s cloud-based cameras both inside and outside the pool area. These innovative cameras would enable the HOA to remotely monitor the premises and promptly respond to any events that demanded their attention. In addition to providing the ability to keep a close watch on the pool area, Verkada’s cameras integrate with access control to provide a fully integrated system to effectively capture and prevent unauthorized access to their facilities.
TTCG worked closely with For2Fi to deliver a complete managed solution to the HOA. The project launched with a site survey that determined the optimal camera placement ensuring maximum coverage monitoring the property. Additionally, we integrated the Verkada cameras with the existing neighborhood access control doors to provide an integrated security system.
To enhance homeowner convenience, we also provided a user-friendly mobile application that enabled homeowners to access the property, either through their smartphones or by utilizing a HOA provided Fob.
With the video security solution installation, the HOA addressed their security concerns allowing them to proactively identify and address security breaches promptly, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access and mitigating potential vandalism incidents. The ability to monitor the pool area and regulate access further enhanced homeowner experience and facility usage.
Furthermore, the comprehensive managed solution, including camera placement and access control integration, provided the HOA with a robust and reliable security infrastructure. Homeowners appreciate the added convenience of accessing the property through their smartphones or utilizing a dedicated Fob, adding to their sense of security.
